Abstract:  This first CVII workshop will be packed with important presentations and demos, and short time for questions and discussions.  Among the highlights are:

  • Aligning the industry:  Coordination between existing consortia and standards on CVII topics

  • Tech Stack:  Hands-on dynamic vehicle data processing:  A deep dive and demo of  the open-source Vehicle-Edge framework that is based on VSS

  • The VSS Ontology project, DTDL language, and how to combine the automotive standard data model with non-automotive domains

CCS - Cloud & Connected Services Technical Workshop I

Abstract: this session will present the work done by the CCS team since the last AMM (Nov 2020). The work focused on how the CCS end-to-end communication
framework that connects the vehicle to the cloud can be mapped to popular cloud infrastructures (like AWS, IBM Cloud, Google). An introduction to the Platform as a Service approach (PaaS) will set the scene first.

Abstract:  This CVII workshop will focus on the services/interfaces aspect of CVII  opportunities to integrate AUTOSAR-related systems in an environment that uses the shared data and/or services model.

After an introductory presentation we will discuss the Vehicle Service Catalog and planned work on a W3C defined Remote-Procedure-Call protocol. 

Thereafter, let's talk about progress and plans related to connecting AUTOSAR-based systems with VSS/VSC.
