Insurance collaboration with OPIN

One of the great organization liaisons we started up in 2020 and 2021, as a part of CVII is with Open Insurance Think Tank (OPIN).

Early on we realized that our missions were similar and interlinked.  OPIN is the largest data and open API project in the insurance industry and they have set out to accelerate the creation of innovative insurance solutions by standard data and standard APIs.  For vehicle insurance related data OPIN chose to work with COVESA and others around the VSS data model which is the current proposed starting point for the standard data model goal of CVII.

To join this activity, just reach out to contact persons in COVESA (Tech Lead, Community Manager, ...) and anyone at OPIN!
