CVII-TS: MQTT

• VSS-to-MQTT client

  • Steps: 

    • Complete the draft mapping document to a full definition of message formats, etc.

    • Implement one or more payload formats:

      1. Use CVII-TS: Binary encoding for VSS-based data transfer as definition of the payload.

      2. Implement VISSv2 compatible JSON encoding

    • Do the implementation, (with lots of code reuse)

  • Access control solution for MQTT?

    • Certificate based?

      • Q: Is there a way to apply VISS access control method on MQTT?

  • Best Practices for MQTT security?
