Trailer use case feedback

  • Why is LEFT and RIGHT labels added in the schema?

    • Maybe expansion was used

  • Overlays?

    • Extensions are supported out-of-the-box via the “extend“ keyword of the GraphQL language. However, overwritting elements of the reference schema go against the data-centric approach and are not supported!

Scope of VDM model

• Options:

  • Mirroring the VSS into VDM using GraphQL SDL.

  • (Preferred) Use VDM with VSS + other domains.

    • VSS in vspec will be automatically synced using vss-tools (vspec export s2dm …)

    • Domains would be added by business case and on demand. Only domains for which the SMEs commit to contribute will be considered.

    • Existing standards and vocabularies will be re used as much as possible to avoid starting from scratch.
